Other Ingredients & Equipment You’ll Need: Mixing Spoon, Scale, Pot (for double boiler)
Directions:
- Weigh out 480 grams of the Pillar of Bliss Candle Wax. Using a double boiler, melt the wax to 195F.
- Allow the temperature of the wax to drop to 180F. Add 57 grams of Natures Garden’s A Vintage Christmas Fragrance Oil. Stir.
- Let the temperature drop to about 140F. Pour the wax into 6 clamshell containers. Allow to set up.
- Prepare your green wax. Melt about 30 grams of the Pillar of Bliss Candle Wax to 195F. Add 1-2 drops of the Hunter Green Nature Friendly Candle Dye. Stir.
- Let the temperature drop to about 140F. Drizzle some of the green wax over the wax in the clamshell container in a zig-zag pattern. Allow the wax to fully set up before moving on.
- Prepare your red wax. Melt about 30 grams of the Pillar of Bliss Candle Wax to 195F. Add 1-2 drops of the Red Nature Friendly Candle Dye. Stir.
- Let the temperature drop to about 140F. Drizzle some of the red wax over the wax in the clamshell container in a zig-zag pattern.
- Once the wax has completely set up lightly dust the wax melts with both the Diamond Dust Mica and 24K Gold Mica.
- Close the containers and allow them to cure for at least 48 hours before using. To use your wax melts, pop out and place one of the cubes into your wax burner.
